our new concept of CHARITY
Charity turns around the donor and his donation.
We make the donation return to the donor.
Read this file, it is about you, Mr. Donor
After 10 years of serious and professional commitment, KARIBU ONLUS has decided to launch a new kind of solidarity, giving the opportunity to tangible feedback even to those who believe in the Karibu project and are ready to support it.
So, starting next January 2018, Karibu will propose a series of projects with the primary goal of raising funds to finally develop Kibora trades and profitable activities for the KIbora Community and also for those who support it.
In the KARIBU CHAKAMA project all this has already been planned from the start but the difficulties of inserting and starting in this reality have prevented me from dealing with this aspect of the project to date.
I have preferred to focus all these forces in these years to meet the priority demanded by the Community of Kibora, the School.
Today this priority is a splendid reality, eight classrooms between Nursery and Primary, 370 children, 8 teachers qualified directly by the ministerial organ and the official recognition of the Ministry of Education.
All this thanks to the generosity of ordinary people and some enlightened entrepreneurs who believed in us.
It took 10 years but now we have the necessary experience to raise the level of our commitment.
THE DONOR GIVES HIS DONATION FOR ANY MICRO PROJECTS PRESENTED BY KARIBU
(eg to build stables)
AFRICA 3.0 CONCEPT
KARIBU REALIZES THE PROJECT AND ENTRUSTS MANAGEMENT TO THE COMMUNITY IN EXCHANGE FOR A MONTHLY FEE
THE COMMUNITY WILL STARTS WORKING AND TO PAY THE MONTHLY FEE AT KARIBU
AT THE END OF ANY YEAR, KARIBU GIFTS TO THE DONOR 70% OF MONEY RECEIVED BY THE COMMUNITY.
TO BETTER UNDERSTAND
Mr Clark makes a donation for the purchase of a tractor
At the end of the year he receives its first award
Mr Clark does not take it but he still invests the sum for the construction of the stables
At the end of the second year he receives two awards, one for the tractor and the one for the stables.
Mr. Clark decides to invest both awards, one for land acquisition and the other one for a new classroom.
At the end of the third year, Mr. Clark receives four awards, tractor, stables, land and classroom.
And so it will be for each subsequent year until the end of the project.
Even if at a time Mr Clark stops investing, he will always receive an annual awards for each project he has invested.
For its part Karibu will have a number of ready investments every year for each new project.
The Community will benefit from productive structures and safe work.
AT THIS POINT,THE DONOR CAN DECIDE WHETHER TO TAKE THE PRIZE ON INVEST THE SUM ON A NEW PROJECT
The contribution paid to the holders of the QUOTES is bestowed as a KARIBU and KIBORA COMMUNITY RECOGNITION AWARD to the donors that enabled the start of the activity.
AFRICA 3.0 - The VISION
From January 2018, therefore, we will finally start implementing micro projects that give work and income to the people of Kibora.
For the experience I have done over the years, I learned that giving something to the locals means throwing it away. It happened with two generators, with animals, with clothing, shoes, whatever we've brought and bought in these years. They only defend and preserve the things they have earned by working and paying their own pocket.
So, when we're going to give them a good by which they work and earn, they'll be happy not to depend on us because they pay for rent at Karibu. They will feel that good of their property.
An example. When we bought the chainsaw to the carpenters to get the wood, they paid Karibu the rental of 10 euros but got the triple. And they paid for gas oil and also repaired them.
So even now, Karibu would still have the money to reinvest on the general project.
Now the difference with the AFRICA 3.0 system is that these cash inflated as rent become for the 3/4 of the total sum the Karibu Recognition Award to its supporters.
It will be donors, at the end of each year, to decide whether to use them to make a donation on a new project or to keep them and do not make more donations. I will thank them all the time. However, using this figure each year as a donation for a new micro project, the donor will be able to contribute to all the new projects thanks to the initial donation, the one made for the first project.
Someone will then wonder about the meaning of this innovation.
The difference is therefore that:
1: First of all you do not think that rewarding the donor is an incentive to make money by removing the true meaning of donations.
2 - It's a way to get older, and above all, new donors, making them really feel within the project, happy to have made a donation and see it come to the destination, totally as they did it.
3 - Karibu can even more clearly confirm its transparency in managing donations, as if they were their own money.
4 - For each new project, Karibu can rely on secure donations even before the fundraising starts.
5 - All project mechanism becomes faster and more productive.
6 - Kibora workers can finally build a better future by having the means to earn and live dignitously.
With the new system AFRICA 3.0, the Karibu does not reduce or cripple the sense of the donation as one might think but defend it, leaving it as pure as it comes to us at the origin.
I keep something I do not belong to, something that someone trusts me with great esteem and confidence.
In fact I'm not a way, the Karibu project is my dream, a dream that I want and I have to share with many possible people primarily because it can be realized but at the same time also because my happiness can be the same happiness for the as many people as possible. There is no greater wealth for me to see this dream come true, I do this to myself, my family, my life, to God. And the same wealth I want to share with those who support me and accompany me in this path.
Karibu Onlus exists because it asks for our law, it is a legal form and required by the system. But the true Karibu is inside me, I am myself, the people over there, and the generous travel companions. There are no refunds or management fees. No promise is impossible but feasible.
I am a donor at the head of so many donors.
HOW IT WORKS
The KARIBU propose from time to time projects to be implemented, the sum to be collected and the value of each share.
Once the required amount is collected, the project property is purchased.
At this point, good will begin to "work" and "produce" money.
At the end of the year, the sum of annual net revenue collected from Karibu Onlus will be divided into two parts.
The first part, equal to 30%, goes to Karibu (who will use it for school, out-door services and general management) and the second part of 70% will be divided into as many parts as are the quotas sold
The contribution paid to the holders of the QUOTES is bestowed as award of gratitude by Karibu and the Kibora Community to the donors that enabled the start of the activity.
Projects to be implemented in the coming years:
2-Small Business Facilities
3-Equipment and Machinery
4-Public and Private Facilities
6-School Services (Refreshment and Stationery)
7-Transports (Bus-Rescue-Pickup Car)
VALIDITY OF ONE QUOTE:
The maximum cost per project of a stake is € 100 or equivalent in dollars or pounds,
the minimum cost is € 20.
The quota is valid throughout the life and will mature the prize until the asset is active.
All donations will be sent to the KARIBU ONLUS bank account at EQUITY DIRECT BANK, London Service.
This account is managed directly by Karibu Onlus, which is therefore solely responsible, civil and criminal, as well as the president and administrators.
The Karibu Onlus guarantees the quarterly submission of statements and regulate the payment of income shares.
The control of the account will be available online for all unitholders.

FROM JANUARY 2018
The usufructuary of land for sowing / livestock pays a rent to the Karibu and this rent also includes the supply of water for irrigation or drinking.
The rent must be paid monthly.
Beneficiaries of any Karibu-Investor-built property on a property owned by Karibu-Investors will have to pay a monthly rental fee, including the relevant land quota.
Shops and Offices
Karibu, in cooperation with its investors, will produce a series of mini-shops / workshops for a total of 8 small structures.
These facilities will be leased to those who will ask for it against a monthly fee paid to Karibu - Investors
The usufructuary is free to choose the intended use of the facility in management and net income is its own.
EQUIPMENT AND MACHINERY
Karibu-Investors will acquire, at the request of the Community, equipment and work equipment (eg pumps, motor saws, maize cleaners, etc).
These assets will be entrusted to the user for those who will make the request and the beneficiary will have to pay a rental fee.
PUBLIC AND PRIVATE STRUCTURES
An ambitious project for the moment.
It is about building an area of about 10 hectares of a welfare facility, a fish pond (Tilapia) and some twenty bungalows.
The care facility, named Never Ending Story House is a public work intended for the elderly and pregnant women and the building is the exclusive competence of Karibu.
In fact, Karibu will be in charge of fundraising, asking for help from large companies or businesses.
In fact, the cost is such that we should find about 500 private investors, each for a maximum of € 100. However, whoever wants to participate can do it freely.
Much simpler is Tilapia's breeding.
You need to create a water tank of about 4500 mtq for a fairly constant height of one and a half meters, buy at least 50 fish to start playback and a pump for the suction of the water.
The tilapia female produces about 1500 eggs at a time.
Finally, bungalows are small units for a family of 4 people.
They will be built in square row and amidst the woods overlooking the lake and the welfare facility. In principle, priority will be given to the personnel involved in the care facility, the staff members and to the family members of the assisted persons in the facility.
RESTORATION AND STATIONERY
This is a bar with daytime restaurant service.
This facility will work for students, teachers, and anyone else in the community, but especially for tourists who, hundreds of people, go from our side to go to the Safari at the nearby TSAVO EST National Park and are very reluctant to make a stopover for a "African lunch".
It will be the only point of reference for the supply of teaching material and stationery for Kibora and the surrounding area.
The biggest problem for the inhabitants of Kibora and surroundings is the distance from Malindi, the first major center to reach. Only 70km away, but it takes almost 3 hours to get there because of the many stops and in some urgent cases, unfortunately, you arrive late to your destination.
For this reason, in the KARIBU CHAKAMA project, we have planned to purchase a small bus that performs the express service up to Malindi, that is, without interruptions.
To this medium, you need to add a fast car for emergency cases, 99% health care.
Not a real autopilot, the cost of which is too high, but a vehicle adapted to the case.
Finally, optional, but no less useful to overcome distances, it's a good pick-up, good for a good used, classic truck for all workers
